Read to Feed - Heifer Foundation

I am so proud of each of you for participating in the Read to Feed program.  As a class, you have read 23,606 pages in the past 8 weeks!  Most of you exceeded your own personal reading goals!!!  Woo hoo!!

Thank you for sharing about the Read to Feed program and the Heifer organization with your family and friends.  As a class, we have raised $455.12!!!  

Heifer International provides livestock and
training so that families can improve nutrition
and earn income for health care, shelter and
education for children. Each gift multiplies
because every family that receives a Heifer
animal promises to Pass on the Gift by giving
one or more of their animal’s offspring and
knowledge to another family in need.

With the money that was raised, our class has decided to purchase a water buffalo, a flock of chicks, a trio of rabbits, and a goat!
