I was wondering if there are any parents who would be interested in creating some Chinese stick books that the students could use in Chinese class. The project requires craft sticks and yarn, which would all be provided by the district. When constructed they would resemble the Chinese stick books that are made of bamboo. The children would then add the Chinese characters or words to their books as they are taught. A member of our District Instruction department created one yesterday, and it was not difficult, but would take too much time from our day to create with the students in class.
